Passing Movie Storyline
In 1920s New York, the world of a black woman who crosses paths with an old childhood friend who is considered white is turned upside down.
Clare is a light-skinned black woman who decided to live her 1920s life pretending to be white. His school friend Irene, who is like him, lives in the African-American community. Reuniting after many years, Clare and Irene dec conflict over their choice. Choosing to live on opposite sides of the color line, Clare and Irene eventually draw each other into their own world.
